Data security architect & Designer

mg.supply

Yo!👋

I’m a data security architect with 10+ years across security, governance, and compliance in defense, federal, financial services, education, and healthcare.

I design data security and protection programs that get to the heart of how an organization actually operates. I map business processes, regulatory requirements, data, people, and technology into controls that can actually be implemented, tested, and defended.

In other words, I like making the policies buried on some URL somewhere actually come to life.

Right now I’m in the field designing and running data protection programs for banks, hospitals, and colleges. Along the way, I’m building mg.supply, where I share the guides, templates, scripts, tools/products/ideas/people/companies I find interesting.

I also care about design more than a security person is probably supposed to. It shows up in almost everything I build.

Outside of security, I’m endlessly curious about digital and in-person experiences. I’m building Dribbble Labs with my family, an indoor basketball court and lounge in McKinney, Texas, and I’m usually experimenting with some other idea not far behind it.

Whatever brought you here, say hi.

A program to build, a career to start, an idea to trade, or a tool you need. I read everything.
